Georgia native Jasmyn Wilkins entered the industry with a major first gig when she was named Miss Georgia USA in 2012. Later that year, she placed fourth runner-up at Miss USA. She began modeling full-time after that and made her SI Swimsuit debut in 2018, when she was was photographed by Josie Clough in Nevis.
The 33-year-old now lives in New York City and is represented by ONE Management and LA Models. She has been featured in recent campaigns for Soma Intimates, Bandier, Calvin Klein and more, and is also constantly sharing outfit and travel inspo on her Instagram and TikTok platforms. Wilkins has been used to spotlight from a young age, as she is the daughter of former NBA player Gerald Wilkins and her uncle is NBA Hall of Famer Dominique Wilkins.
“I learned that nobody is perfect… I’ve dealt with a lot of anxiety. I haven’t been diagnosed with anything, but I can recognize when I’m having an anxious moment or a depressive state. I feel like I learned to not be afraid to ask for help when you need it. You don’t have to be on all of the time. You don’t have to be perfect,” she shared of her general outlook. “That was something that was kind of hammered into me in the modeling industry that you do have to be on it and you do have to be perfect. But… I feel like it’s just more raw and honest and realistic when people see, ‘Oh you’re struggling with this? I’m struggling with this, too.’ If it doesn’t cure me I understand that there’s a community of people out there that are dealing with those things too.”
