Crews work to repair natural gas leak in Spartanburg, police say


SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Spartanburg Police Department said crews worked to repair a natural gas leak Wednesday.

Crews were called to the leak, located at South Pine Street near Forest Avenue, around 2:30 a.m., according to police. The caller stated an eight-inch gas line had been hit.

All lanes of traffic are back open. However, there is a lane shift in the southbound lane.

As of 6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, crews are still working to make repairs.
