GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. —
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office says a pedestrian has died after a hit-and-run in Greenville County.
The crash was reported just before 7 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 291, or North Pleasantburg Drive, near Montebello Drive.
The deputy coroner said a female pedestrian was hit by two vehicles.
Both vehicles involved were not at the scene, according to the coroner.
State troopers said they do not have a description of either vehicle.
The coroner’s office identified the woman as Ruthann Marie Mennix, 48.
An autopsy was scheduled for Thursday.
